DoppiArte: la parola nel doppiaggio tra creatività e tecnica

Lo studio è tratto dalla tesi La macchina del doppiaggio. Interpretazioni, voci e arte nel buio della sala con cui Andrea Martelli si è laureato nel giugno 2013 in Scienze e Tecnologie Multimediali all’Università di Udine, sede di Pordenone.
Dubbing allows the Creative Word to become a Dubbed Creative Word. Through a description of the technical and creative tools that help the dubber perform again the actors’ original performances, thus giving new life to the movie, the role of dubbing is analyzed as a creative context, in which words are shaped and language/cultural barriers are overcome in order to translate the original screenplay into the target language. The interviews to the dubbers provide original contributions which reveal a doppiArte: the metaphor of the double is merged with an artistic creative part, deep-seated into the creative power of the word.
